Wolfy's America set to perform during halftime and post-game

(DULUTH, Ga.) – The 2017 NLL World Champion Georgia Swarm will welcome Air Force veteran, Wolfy’s America, for the 3rd annual Heroes Night presented by Axiom Corporation on Sunday, March 18. In honor of our nation’s heroes, the night will feature a 12-minute musical military tribute at halftime, as well as a 30-minute post-game performance from Wolfy’s America in the Atlanta Classic Cars Mercedes-Benz Goal Zone Club. The Swarm faces the Buffalo Bandits at 4:05 p.m. ET and early arriving fans will receive a camo rally towel courtesy of Axiom Corporation.

During Heroes Night, the Swarm is proud to announce the return of Seats for Heroes, a program that donates game tickets to current military personnel, veterans and first responders, such as police and firemen. Seats for Heroes will allow many military and first responder families to attend the game at no cost. If you would like to donate seats to one of our hometown heroes, please call 844-4-GASWARM.

Lower Level Tickets to see Heroes Night featuring Wolfy’s America at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Field at Infinite Energy Arena start as low as $25 and can be purchased online at GeorgiaSwarm.com/Heroes or by calling 844-4-GASWARM.

“Having the opportunity to honor our nation’s heroes means a lot to our organization,” Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. “We are incredibly grateful for the sacrifices made by our armed forces and first responders, and our Heroes Night is designed to recognize all of these brave men and women. We’re looking forward to having Wolfy’s America in attendance for Heroes Night as well. It is guaranteed to be a patriotic evening that honors our great nation.”

“Coming back to the city of Atlanta, and the great state of Georgia, brings back some of the best memories of my life,” said Wolfy. “Wolfy’s America is a kind of continuation of unity, but now totally focused on bringing together our military and all our working heroes that make up this great country for a musical tribute. We are bringing a high-energy show, filled with sing-along songs and interaction with the ones we will pay tribute to our nation’s military troops serving us around the world, past, and present.”

About Wolfy’s America

The man who brought the world together through music is ready to step out from behind the turntables and back to center stage—for the first time in more than 25 years. A longtime singer and musician, Bob Wolf, also known as Wolfy, learned his art and craft while touring alongside some of the greatest legends of working-man’s music: Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Johnny Paycheck—even the Killer himself, Jerry Lee Lewis.

While traveling from coast-to-coast and playing music with the best of the best, Wolfy came to recognize the true heroes of America: our military, our first responders, our nurses—the ones who, day in and day out, go above and beyond to serve, to protect and to comfort. In truth, all who work hard and strive to keep America robust and resilient are heroes to Wolfy. So, Wolfy is returning to the stage to put the spotlight where it belongs: on those who make America the great country it is.

The heralded entertainment industry leader has created a tribute that celebrates America’s working heroes through music and laughter. An Air Force veteran, Wolfy drew inspiration for his new show from a legendary figure with a reputation for bringing entertainment to American heroes: the late, great Bob Hope. Following in Hope’s footsteps, Wolfy is bringing back the much-missed format of the classic American variety show. From one Bob to another, Wolfy’s goal is to bring family entertainment to the folks in the trenches who keep our country going strong.

Come and celebrate the greatness of the United States with a one-of-a-kind entertainer who always puts his country first—America’s Wolfy!
