(DULUTH, Ga.) – After a World Championship season, the National Lacrosse League’s Georgia Swarm is set to start the 2017-18 NLL Season with the strong support of several new corporate partners. Georgia’s business side added many big names to the Swarm family during the offseason in addition to enjoying the continued support of Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort.
“We couldn’t be happier to work with all of our partners, new and old, as we defend our World Championship this coming season,” Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. “Our partners know we feature one of the most exciting entertainment packages in the Southeast, and we are blessed by their strong support. With their backing and having doubled our number of season ticket holders, we can’t wait for the season to start this Friday.”
The new season will be highlighted by the addition of the brand-new Goal Zone Club, presented by Atlanta Classic Cars Mercedes-Benz, the automotive home for Mercedes-Benz in Duluth, Johns Creek and Suwanee. The Goal Zone Club is the first of its kind in the NLL, a VIP floor-level area that will get fans closer to the action with its location right behind the South End Zone and features a private bar with wait staff and a music stage.

Georgia also inked a deal with the Dickey Broadcasting Company in October to become the official flagship station of the Swarm, broadcasting Georgia’s home games live on 1230AM/106.3FM The Fan 2. This one-year deal will deliver the first-ever professional lacrosse radio broadcasts to the state of Georgia.
With the success born from having GRAMMY® Award-winning hip hop artist Ludacris perform during the halftime of Game 1 of the Champion’s Cup Finals last season, Georgia created its Concert Series. Three of Georgia’s home games this upcoming season will have concert performances from local Atlanta acts. GRAMMY® Award-winning hip hop artist 2 Chainz will perform during Georgia’s home opener on Saturday, Dec. 30, and the Swarm will be announcing a country artist and Christian band for Country Night and Faith & Family Night respectively.
Georgia’s home opener will be on Saturday, Dec. 30. Faceoff is set for 7:05 p.m. ET. The home opener will feature the unveiling of the Championship Banner and a halftime performance by Atlanta-based GRAMMY® Award-winning hip-hop artist 2 Chainz.
