NEW YORK RIPTIDE

vs

CALGARY ROUGHNECKS

Saturday, Feb. 8 at Scotiabank Saddledome

Face-off at 9:30 p.m. ET

If you’re a Swarm fan, this is the most important game this week. Their next opponent, the Riptide, will be playing an inter-divisional bout against the Roughnecks, both teams coming off of bye weeks. The Roughnecks will play the Swarm on Feb. 22, going on a bye week after this Saturday’s game.

After their first win in franchise history, the Riptide have dropped two more games, being outscored by 12 goals in that pair. The Roughnecks are struggling to regain their championship form, having gone without a win in 2020. One team’s recent woes ends on Saturday, and both get to look forward to the Swarm being their next foe.

VANCOUVER WARRIORS

vs

ROCHESTER KNIGHTHAWKS

Sunday, Feb. 9 at Blue Cross Arena

Face-off at 2:00 p.m. ET

The second game of the week for the Warriors, they fly across the continent to take on the expansion Knighthawks. The Knighthawks played a competitive game against the Bandits last weekend, but they were unable to hold onto an eight-goal third quarter and lost in overtime to the home team.

Still searching for an elusive second win of the season, the Knighthawks will try and earn that at home against a Warriors team that has been rolling of late, no matter the result of the first game of their doubleheader weekend against the Bandits.

BUFFALO BANDITS

vs

TORONTO ROCK

Sunday, Feb. 9 at Scotiabank Arena

Face-off at 3:00 p.m. ET

Another doubleheader, this time for the Bandits. Whatever the results of Friday’s game against the Warriors, the Bandits make the cross-continent trip back east to take on their North Division rival, the Rock.

Last Saturday, the Rock gave the previously undefeated Halifax Thunderbirds their first loss of the season, and they did it with a lineup plagued with injuries. This divisional battle will be huge for both teams and a great way to cap off a busy weekend of NLL action.
