Swarm Acquire First Round Picks From Knighthawks For Ryan Lanchbury

Duluth, GA (December 7,2023)- The Georgia Swarm announced today that the team has traded forward Ryan Lanchbury to the Rochester Knighthawks in exchange for a 2024 first-round pick as well as a conditional first-round compensatory pick, pending league approval.

“We want to thank Ryan for his contributions to the Swarm,” said Owner and General Manager John Arlotta. “He’s a great person, teammate, and contributor. I’m especially pleased that he will be going to a team where he is familiar with the players and can quickly reach his full potential.”

Lanchbury, 25, was drafted by the Swarm with the 2nd overall pick in the 2021 NLL Entry Draft. The rookie forward recorded 16 points for the Swarm during the 2022-23 season.
