Dr. Tyler Haeffs

Dr. Tyler Haeffs, a Georgia native, graduated from Chattahoochee High School and was a four-year varsity lacrosse player. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics from the University of Georgia Honors College, graduating summa cum laude with highest honors and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He then earned his DMD degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with clinical honors and authored numerous Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery publications.

Dr. Haeffs then completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Illinois Chicago program where he trained under many leaders within the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, Advocate Christ Medical Center, UI Health and the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. His broad specialty training included treatment of facial fractures and lacerations, corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), head and neck pathology, impacted teeth removal, dental implant placement, bone and soft tissue grafting and in-office IV anesthesia.

Dr. Haeffs currently practices in Suwanee, Georgia (Georgia Facial & Oral Surgery) where he enjoys interacting with and treating patients of all ages. He is a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the Georgia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and maintains a certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. In his spare time, Dr. Haeffs enjoys playing tennis and golf, spending time with friends and family and homebrewing.
