Nicole Palombo

Nicole Palombo joined the Georgia Swarm as a Digital Content Producer in August 2021.  Palombo comes to the Swarm after most recently working for the ASUN Conference as a Media Relations Assistant.

During her time at the ASUN, Palombo played a major role in creating written and visual content daily for the conference’s web page and social media channels. She started the ASUN’s TikTok page while creating the league’s first 11 videos generating over 166,000 views. In addition to assisting with social creation, she provided in-game and post-game coverage for all league teams to promote program and player success.

Prior to the ASUN, Palombo was a Graduate Assistant of Athletic Communications at Manhattanville College in Purchase, N.Y. With the Valiants, she generated written and digital content for Manhattanville’s main account along with running sub sport accounts. Additionally, she provided statistical coverage for various home athletic events while managing gameday staff, in-game/post-game media and promotions.

Simultaneously to working at Mahnattanville, Palombo was a Webcast and Production Assistant for USMA Army West Point Athletics. With the Black Knights, she assisted running live broadcasts while incorporating replays and graphics to display a well-rounded broadcast to viewers.

Palombo received her master’s degree in Sports Business and Event Management from Manhattanville in 2021 and completed her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Spanish from Roger Williams University in 2018. With the Hawks, Palombo was a member and captain of the Women’s Lacrosse team and began her sports career there after serving as an Athletic Communications Intern. A native of Brewster, N.Y., Palombo now resides in Lawrenceville, Ga.
