Things to Watch For: Swarm at Black Wolves

Key notes ahead of the Swarm's second game this weekend

The Georgia Swarm (4-1) became the last NLL team to lose a game on Friday night at Scotiabank Arena. The Toronto Rock won 14-9, entering into a tie with Georgia for first in the East Division.

Now the Swarm travels east for the back half of its first doubleheader of the season. The Swarm will do battle against the New England Black Wolves (2-1), another important East Division matchup and another team that has not lost since its only loss to the Swarm in December. With a faceoff of 7:00 p.m. ET, fans can catch the game on the B/R Live app available through iTunes, Google Play, Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire.

Here are some key notes to be aware of ahead of tonight’s game:

  • The Swarm won their first game of the season 16-12 against the Black Wolves. Hosting Star Wars Night, the Swarm wore special Star Wars themed uniforms and held the Black Wolves scoreless in the second quarter to earn their first win of the season and fourth-straight Home Opener win. Full recap here.
  • The last time the Swarm played in Mohegan Sun Arena, they defeated the Black Wolves 16-11. In doing so, the Swarm claimed first place in the East Division for the 2017-18 season – automatically advancing to and hosting the East Division Finals – and dropped New England to third place.
