The 2017 NLL World Champion Georgia Swarm has been named the winner of the 2018 Pinnacle Small Business Award for Family-Owned Small Business of the Year.

The Swarm was named a finalist in 2016 for the Small Business Award for Family-Owned Small Business of the Year, and its win Wednesday is a testament to the organization’s years of work in Georgia.
“This is a team win,” Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. “Our front office and team have worked hard the last three years, and our efforts being recognized by the community means a lot. Winning this award after being a finalist in 2016 shows the progress our organization has made here in Georgia. My father and I are very blessed to have such an incredible and dedicated Swarm family, and we believe the best is yet to come for the Swarm.”
In 2017, the Swarm brought Atlanta its first professional world championship since 1995. In the community, the Swarm is active year-round with local lacrosse organizations through various camps, clinics and meet-and-greets.
