Scotty McCreery will perform on Country Night

(DULUTH, Ga.) – The 2017 NLL World Champion Georgia Swarm is proud to announce that country music superstar Scotty McCreery will perform during Country Night presented by JT Stratford on Saturday, Feb. 17. The night will feature both a 10-minute halftime and 30-minute postgame performance from McCreery in the Atlanta Classic Cars MercedesBenz Goal Zone Club when the Swarm hosts the Toronto Rock for a 7:05 p.m. ET showdown.

Lower Level Tickets to see Country Night featuring Scotty McCreery at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Field at Infinite Energy Arena start as low as $25 and can be purchased online at GeorgiaSwarm.com/CountryNight or by calling 844-4-GASWARM. Early arriving fans will also receive Cowbells courtesy of JT Stratford.

“It’s our goal to give our fans the best possible gameday experience,” Swarm Co-Owner and President Andy Arlotta said. “As we were planning our inaugural Country Night, we knew it was a natural fit to welcome a major artist to The Hive as country music has such strong roots here in Georgia. With that said, we’re thrilled to welcome Scotty McCreery, who is from the Southeast and is one of the nation’s hottest country artists. Scotty has produced countless hits on the radio, and with the release of his new album in March, the timing couldn’t be anymore perfect to have him at The Hive.”

“I am looking forward to performing at the Infinite Energy Arena as part of the first ‘Country Night’ for the fans of the Georgia Swarm,” said McCreery. “As a former athlete and life-long sports fan, I am always up for being part a night that includes both music and sports.”

McCreery is the second of three artists in the Swarm’s 2017-18 Concert Series. Georgia welcomed 2 Chainz back on Dec. 30 during the Home Opener and will announce another major artist in the coming days for Faith and Family Night on Sunday, April 8 at 4:05 p.m. ET.

About Scotty McCreery

McCreery made history in 2011 as both the first country artist and the youngest male artist of any genre to debut his first studio album, the Platinum-certified Clear as Day, at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. All three of his albums have debuted at No. 1 on a Billboard Albums chart, with current combined sales nearing 3 million copies. He’s earned one Gold single and three Platinum singles and achieved two Top Ten hits with “Feelin’ It” and “See You Tonight.” The latter song earned McCreery both his first BMI Award for writing one of the Top 50 Country Songs of 2015 and his first Music Row No. 1 Challenge Coin. He won the 10th season of “American Idol” in 2011; was named the ACM New Artist of the Year in 2011; won the CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year (“The Trouble with Girls”) in 2012; and American Country Awards for new Artist of the Year in 2011 and Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2013. In 2016, McCreery released his first book, Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream, and won the Rare Country Grand Ole Opry Moment of the Year Award for his live performance of “Five More Minutes” which became an internet favorite viewed by millions on YouTube.
