Letter to Fans from Coach Comeau

To Swarm Fans:

On behalf of the players and staff, we wanted to thank you for all your support in the 2017-18 season. We are disappointed that we were not able to retain the World Championship in Georgia this past season after falling in the East Division Finals.

We had many great moments during the season, including our six-game win streak to end the season which allowed us to clinch first place in the East for the 2^nd year in a row. Our home games were also great events all year including the championship banner raising night with Atlanta hip-hop icon 2 Chainz, the new Mercedes-Benz Goal Zone Club to watch the action up close, and our concert series featuring country recording superstar Scott McCreery. We also made some special moments on the floor with a number of appearances by our players on SportsCenter Top 10 Plays.

Now that our season is over, we are already planning for next season and how we can once again bring a World Championship to Georgia. It is an exciting offseason in the NLL with two new teams joining the league, the San Diego Seals and the Philadelphia Wings. There will be an expansion draft to help them fill their roster, along with the NLL Draft where there are many exciting players ready to start their pro lacrosse careers with their new team. Our players are training hard, and our staff is scouting players for the draft and working on making our team even better for next season.

Our job in the offseason is to help put us in a position to win a championship in our 2018-19 season. We are going to give you an assignment as well in the offseason…

The atmosphere in The Hive was great during the 2017-18 season. It was loud, the energy is awesome, and our players really feed off the excitement. We want to get your help to fill The Hive for the 2018-19 season. Please share with your friends and colleagues not only the value you feel you receive while attending Swarm home games, but how fun and exciting the games are.  Our office staff is working hard to provide entertaining and fun-filled gamedays for your enjoyment. We offer not only season tickets and single game tickets, but also have a lot of groups that come to enjoy our games with their teams, leagues, schools, church groups and coworkers. We would love to welcome your group to one of our games for the 2018-19 season.
