Gouge, 24, is entering her third season with the Swarm and is our Marketing and Partnerships Manager. Kelsey started out as Marketing and Partnerships Coordinator in 2016, was promoted to Senior Coordinator in 2017, and then was promoted to her current position as Manager 6 months later.
She assists with strategic partnership presentations, agreements, and activations. In the 2017-18 season, Gouge helped the organization increase its sponsorship revenue to the best in 10-year franchise history.
In addition, Kelsey oversees all office and property management for the organization, and she is the Assistant to the Swarm’s Co-Owner and President. She also recruits, interviews, hires, and manages the Swarm Internship Program.
On the operations side of the business, Kelsey manages and directs all game day operations, including putting together scripts, executing all sponsor-related activations, and directing the show from start to finish (including performances by Ludacris, 2 Chainz, Scotty McCreery, Lifehouse, North Point’s InsideOut Band, and Thompson Square). In 2017, she planned and executed the Bert’s Big Adventure Reunion at one of the Swarm games.
In the local community, Kelsey is involved with the Metro Atlanta Chamber and Atlanta Sports Council through several events and organizations, including ATLeaders. She was named one of Atlanta Business Journal’s “People on the Move” back in October 2017 and was a 2018 Atlanta Sports Council Hall of Fame voter. She also assists in coordinating community relations and events in an effort to expand the customer database.
Kelsey graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and concentration in Sport Management. At Florida Southern, she was a 4-year swimming scholarship recipient, a record 22-time Academic and Athletic All-American, and a school record holder in several events. She was voted captain and led the woman’s team to a Sunshine State Conference Championship win in 2016. She was nominated NCAA Woman of the Year in 2016 by the athletic department at Florida Southern for her community, academic, and athletic achievements.
Kelsey currently resides in Lawrenceville, GA and has a twin brother and older sister. She loves puppies, a good cup of coffee, and to cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs. She is recently engaged and will be getting married in May 2019!
